  1. I don’t play MSGs and am really confused about the difference between Dynamax and Gigantamax. Like why would I just try to get a good Dynamax Blastoise and power it up and then soon after have to do it over again for a Gigantamax Blastoise. The only way it would make sense is if we could Gigantamax our Dynamax Pokemon.

  2. But will you be able to turn your current dynamax blastoise into a gigantamax or is it going to be a whole other category to hunt for?

  3. But like what do I do with my Dynamax and Gigantamax Pokemon? You cant use them in normal raids, battles, or really anywhere else in the game besides max raids. It’s cool and all but Niantic needs to figure out a way to incorporate Dyna/Gigantamax Pokemon in other aspects of the game because the honeymoon phase is over and all my dynamax Pokemon just taking up storage space

  4. I caught a hundo blastoise. Is gigantamax going to require me to catch another hundo blastoise or will I get mega energy for my dynamax one???

  5. better to get mankey com day next year we only just about to get shadow mankey plus the com days been bad this year makes no sense to do a good com day they year

  6. Um, was there a change with the Dmax battles? When the Galar starters first came out I did a few Scorbunny raids and they were pretty easy just like the Kanto starters. Those have been the only I've gotten to since the start of the release but today I did a grookey and it absolutely demolished my team. Several times. And I was using a powered up Charizard and 2 decently powered up charmeleons. It blew them away so fast I could even get to dmax any.

Then after that I thought I'd go back to a Scorbunny raid and barely won. But the win was weird. The last pokemon was a dubwool (barely got him to Dmax) and he took out the Scorbunny with one hit when it had 75% health.

What am i missing here? 🤷

  7. Hope they give shadow claw and rage fist for mankey community day
That would be dope and finally annihilape will be able to make a comeback 🔥🔥🔥

  8. you can use dark type against a ghost type and blastoise can get bite as a fast att so its dynamax charge move will be a dark type to so i would go with blastoise with fast att bite against gastly and gengar 🙂

  9. I could see Rage Fist working like power up punch where it gradually builds in strength over duration of it being used. If they do that it'd be great be an improved version of that style of damage output

  10. 2:30

Since Dynamax battles aren't about time the way raids are, wouldn't defensive considerations be on par with offensive (even though that isn't really the case in raids)?

Or is the offensive more significant due to how hard the max moves hit, and so you want a super effective max move?

For example, we do have two Normal type Dynamax pokemon right now, so would they maybe do okay against a Ghost Fast Move & Ghost Charged Move Dynamax Gengar?

Also, love your videos Poké AK!

Edit: looks like you addressed Normals against Ghost later in the video when you talked about Annihilape.

  11. I still say that even though it isn't a fast move to use for dynamax damage. However Inteleon with charge move shadow ball will be a great one for charging max meter while doing super effective ghost damage and idk how resistant water is to ghost moves but may be a nice buffer against damage too. I'm glad to have found a 96 or 98% of soble already. Greedient will probably be the most effective for super effective fast and charge damage on ghastly if they make it a 3 teir instead. I would say test out beldum on ghastly, but that'd be like a lower caliber mewtwo vs. gengar battle.

Just some suggestions on counters to go with previously mentioned ones in the video, which is wonderful and highly informative. I appreciate the leak information clips with upcoming speculations

  12. If it's a cop-out, maybe "raging fist" could be just a better "power-up punch" with the legacy move treatment.

  13. If they do an annihlape community day I’d pretty mad..It took me a while to get that dam thing!!
