Mod chips aren’t illegal in the US. Modifing consoles isn’t illegal in the US. Where he fucked up is including pirated content on the modded consoles. Nintendo probably did a sting operation and purchased modded consoles from hi and when he included the games that’s all they needed. Dude distributed illegal copies. So he’s guilty of content infringement in that regard.
He’s also an asshole and didn’t send me my Mig Switch dumper. But I filed the charge back on that. Did send the Mig Switch itself though.
