Some example screenshots here. I'm happy to see there is more to do after finishing the game. I'm sure the game explained what the quest icons I see are after finishing the game. Truth is I skimmed through it so fast thinking it was the end. IS it just a repeat of gyms? What is it I'm exactly looking at ? Appreciate anyone who can enlighten me on what's going on after end game credits.

It’s a modern Pokémon game. There isn’t any postgame other than rematches unless you want to pay for DLC.
You can rematch the gym leaders, do the ace tournament if you haven’t and if you have the dlc, do that.
You can rrmatch every gym leader who uses a much better team this time. Once you beat them you help make a school tournament with Nemona. After that it’s pretty much over.
You can find all the swords and catch the legendary ruinous pokemon, you can unlock black raids (by raiding a lot of 5 star and 6 star raids). And lastly, you can complete the pokedex and get your diploma.
And then there is paid DLC.
The DLC is pretty expansive (and honestly has a better narrative than the main story), so there’s definitely that, along with the rematch stuff others have mentioned.
There’s also a set of legendaries that are way off the beaten path that are pretty easy to miss, since you have to collect a bunch of colored stakes hidden all over the place to get them to spawn.
