My 10 year old son and I played the card game for the first time.

I understand the board and cards aren’t set up correctly as we were just doing the bare minimum basics and not caring about seeing hands or anything. We’ve never played lol

I’ve been a Pokémon fan since the 90’s, and I never got to play the battle academy game, so last night my son and I finally said “let’s do it” and we set it up. It was rough, and trying to figure out the rules and stuff was sometimes overwhelming, but once we got the basics, we had the best time. He was having a blast, and so was I. I’m hoping we can make this a little tradition 😀
