If you ever see a deal like this on a service you normally use it’s illogical, not to buy it. It’s basically just free money

There’s a $250 gift card balance limit for eShop. Costco has a 10 gift card or $500 limit.
I bought $250 to load up for DLC and NSO even though I mostly buy physical games. I’ll find a use for them eventually and 20% off is really good.

Have done this deal before, it’s great. One caveat – remember that the vouchers expire in one year. My last one I didn’t find a use for and with five days left I had to use it or lose it and spent it on a game I still have not played and probably never will. Typically they will expire right before new game releases so it will be too late to use them for that. It’s great if you really plan out your purchases, I got ToTK at release for $40 but like I said my last one withered while I waited for another game to release so I spent $40 on Princess Peach because other games I wanted online were available elsewhere for like $35 and less.

I have bought these three separate times and have never had any issues. I basically consider it 20% off every Nintendo game I buy. If you use these with a voucher, it’s basically a third off.
