A sad story about Mew

I had finally made the decision to sell my vintage Pokemon cards at my local card shop. I didn’t think they could even be worth much. I was so surprised and ended up selling a ton of my best cards without really thinking, and then with that money got back into Pokemon cards. Maybe a big mistake because then I learned. During that process the shop wouldn’t take Japanese cards so they handed me this Mew card back that I figured was random promo trash, so when the kid who was hovering around me during all this said mew was his favorite pokemon, I gave it to him because I was in the mood of cluelessly getting rid of my best cards and I couldn’t find anything about the card. Last night I finally dug through what I thought was vintage scraps and I found a togepi promo to match the mew I had given away and I finally found the set they were in. Oops
