I have had this fakemon for a while and decided to finally try and do something with it. I want to make a physical version with perlers but need a good pixel design for it. I usually use the style of the Psyduck in the second picture and I used and apllin of the same style for one of the recolors but they all look a little off. Any ideas on how I can improve these?

I think the second and last applin designs look the best. Only advice I could give is that don’t use pixels in corners to make them round and to not make the pixels too big. Also, something that I see often in Pokémon fangames/roms is that the colors are usually one color that is differently shaded. I’m not saying that you have to do one color, but if you want it to feel gen 1 or 2 ish then you probably should do that. I could help make the sprites if needed, but I’m not good at coding

#2 is my pick. #1 is too boxy and #4 doesn’t have a tail.
