My Venturis region starters are completed!

It took a lot of sitting in my metaphorical kitchen (my bedroom) to cook these designs. I had a lot of changes I wanted to make to a few of them (cough the fire line cough), and I still had to design the middle stages. But, I'm proud to now present to you…

The starters of the Venturis Region!

My region takes place on a large, wandering spaceship, and Herbit, Bubbear, and Pyruff are your choices for your everlasting Poké-partner to travel with you through the cosmos.

These designs will be further refined, and placed on Pokédex backgrounds later down the line, but until then, here's a bit about them and the meaning behind their designs:

.
.
.

Grass/Fairy | Herbit → Lunehare → Verdaluna → Mega Verdaluna | Lepus constellation, nuralugus rex, Jade/Moon Rabbit, Chang'e

"Herbit are calm and mature Pokémon, no matter their size or age. Trainers and professors often wonder how they see—or if they can—since no one has ever actually seen a Herbit open its eyes."

"Lunehare are cheerful and graceful Pokémon, known for their whimsical and elegant approach to life. These curious rabbits have a notable fascination with clothing and fashion."

"Verdaluna are regarded as some of the most elegant Pokémon aboard Venturis. Many trainers describe them as having a motherly presence. Gentle and caring, they perform dazzling dance routines that sparkle brilliantly, lifting the spirits of anyone who feels down."

"Mega Verdaluna are always accompanied by their large crescent moon, which they perch upon. They sing somber, yet beautiful songs to anyone who cares to listen, as if expressing the pain tied to their Mega Evolution."

.

Water/Steel | Bubbear → Bubbarier → Ursarmour → Mega Ursarmour | Ursa Minor/Major constellations, polar bears, tardigrades, Mars, shields/barriers

"Bubbear are a popular choice for trainers across the Venturis Region. These curious and adorable Pokémon are found almost everywhere, accidentally releasing bubbles from their four tube-like arms whenever they get excited."

"Bubbarrier are hardworking Pokémon often seen assisting with construction throughout the Venturis vessel. Proud of their strength, they usually only use two of their four arms—perhaps for the best, as they don’t have as much control over their power as they believe."

"Ursarmour are incredibly sturdy Pokémon. Though their arms appear to be made of bubbles, they are indestructible, able to withstand extreme pressure, freezing temperatures, and sharp objects. These Pokémon use their immense defense to protect their trainers from any danger."

"Mega Ursarmour are nearly immobile due to their significantly heavier upper bodies. However, their additional set of arms compensates for their lack of movement. They stand firm like an impenetrable wall, using their massive bodies to shield and defend."

.
.
.

Fire/Dark | Pyruff → Infernine → Lycomen → Mega Lycomem | Canis Minor/Lupus constellations, Xolotl, Xoloitzcuintle, Panthers, Tiangou, Kasha

"Pyruff are feisty Pokémon, barking and howling at anything they dislike. Though it takes time for them to trust new people, once they do, they become fiercely loyal and formidable companions."

"Infernine are mischievous Pokémon known for causing trouble for trainers and those around them. They often steal and burn food or pick fights without orders. These Pokémon are even known to sneak out to howl at the sun and stars."

"Lycomen are often feared due to their association with times of great peril. They burn the remains of both foe and friend, showing no mercy to restless souls. Despite their ominous reputation, they are fiercely loyal to their trainers, battling with relentless determination—even if it means fighting to the death."

"Mega Lycomen are widely feared, with many trainers avoiding Mega Evolution entirely due to their volatile nature. They go berserk at the sight of bright lights, relentlessly attempting to extinguish or consume them. Strangely, these Pokémon seem especially drawn to the light of stars, sometimes even trying to break through the Venturis vessels windows to reach the vacuum of space."

Which line is your favourite? I'd love to know! I made a lot of changes since their last iterations, so I can only hope that those changes were for the better! I like how they came out, so feel free to share your opinions :>
