Please don’t be rude. I’m not an artist. Anyway, I’m starting to make a region called “La Floro” (based on florida where I live). These are the water starters, Minkute (Mink, Cute), Monkstem (Mink, Uncle Monday, Trickster, Totem), and Monderster (Uncle Monday, Monster, Trickster, Everglades)
They’re based on the Everglades mink, and Uncle Monday (a Shapeshifting native American folktale, and protector of seminoles)
In Native American folklore, minks were often known as tricksters, and I thought mixing them with another Native American trickster would help the lore. Uncle Monday is usually seen or depicted with an alligator skin on his head, so that’s where the scales on the final Evo come from.
Also, those things on the final evolution are its own body wrapped wrapped itself. It would be too large to do its tricks otherwise, which it casts from its tail.
It also has a new special ability called “Hoodoo” which gives it stab for dark type moves
Pokédex entry for all of them
Minkute: this Pokémon enjoys pulling silly place on those it considers friends, though if it doesn’t like you, you may find yourself on the end of a dangerous attack
Monkstem: as it evolves this Pokémon it gains a mean spirit, and tends to pull more malicious pranks. Even a trusted friend can be on the end of one of these.
Monderster: this Pokémon carries ghostly energy in its tail which it uses to attack its foe. It has not lost its sense of humor or love of pranks though, and will still find any reason to pull one.
