Well first off, happy Thanksgiving to all who are celebrating. It’s been a while since I’ve posted a line, that’s cause these guys were in the works. This is a brand new line that works like Eevee, and they have an appetite that outranks the might Snorlax despite their size. The first evolution starts out as a pure dragon type and gains a secondary typing based on what they eat a large quantity of. So for example, if the base stage eats a large amount of garbage and toxic waste, they’ll gain the poison typing. Also if you want to see the rest of the evolutions, please do let me know, cause based in the feedback I get for these guys will determine if I make the rest of the typings or not, since it will be quite a bit of work
I do also want to point out that I am aware that another content creator called Hoopsandhiphop made an Eevee-like line that starts as a pure dragon type and gains a secondary typing rather than changing its type completely. I did have this idea planned out before he made those videos, but there’s no way to really prove that. Some will probably point that out and assume I stole the idea, but there’s not really any way for me to disprove it. So if you do think I stole the whole idea, sorry I guess. But with all that, I’ll go ahead and explain all these guys now:
The base stage (the little guy in the very front) is called Gobbla. It’s basically just gobble/gobbling + gila from gila monster combined. Their design is pretty simple, since they have the possibility to evolve into several different types. You’ll also notice that each evolution has a unique colored tongue. Something I decided to add to all these guys since they’re whole gimmick is eating
The first evolution I had is the dragon/bug type Larvodon. Larvodon is larva + komodo dragon mashed together. Gobbla evolves into Larvodon when they consume a large quantity of bugs and grub and whatnot. Also how could I not make one of the first evolutions the long awaited bug/dragon type
The next evolution is the dragon/poison type Toxodon. Toxodon is toxic + komodo dragon mashed together. Gobbla evolves into Toxodon when they consume a large amount of garbage and trash and toxic waste, you get the idea
Next up is the dragon/fire type Smoldodon. Smoldodon is smoldering + komodo dragon combined together. Gobbla evolves into Smoldodon when they consume a large amount of hot things like lava, peppers, etc. . They have a tail that is a false dragon head, which they use to exhaust all the heat they have inside of them. It also is great for intimidating opponents
Now we have Fossodon, the dragon/rock type. Fossodon is fossil + komodo dragon combined. When Gobbla decides to consume a bunch of old fossils, they’ll turn into Fossodon. Fossodon has Armaldo’s tail, Bastiodon’s legs, Tyrantrum’s fur collar, and Rampardos’ battering ram head piece
And finally, we have the type that technically doesn’t exist cause it’s locked behind a gimmick, the dragon/fairy type, Cinnodon. Cinnodon is cinnamon + komodo dragon combined. When Gobbla eats a ton of sweet things like fruits, pastries, they’ll turn into Cinnodon. Cinnodon also has a Chinese dragon theme added too. This is mainly because whenever Cinnodon curls up, they’ll turn into look like a giant cinnamon roll
