Sporeder evolution! Name ideas?

    How about Sporacantha? Gasteracantha is the genius of spider that Orb-Spiders are a part of; *akantha* is Greek for “spiny”, so since the EVO has spiny mushrooms, I think it’s a fun name.

    Otherwise, play on the Orbs somehow:
    Sporeber,
    Sporbinous,
    Fungorber

    Cankerformis: cancriformis (species name of the spiny-backed orbweaver) + canker sore

    Sporb: Spore + orb

    Pre evo is really cute it’s evo should look bigger maybe make the body more aggressive looking but these are great

    Hyndranid. Hindering, scientific name of the blood mushroom (Hydnellum), network interface device (NID) which plays into the mycelium network, which is the network all fungi share for nutrition, and Arachnid.

    Make them both the smaller ones color scheme, then the other color scheme the shiny variant. Just so they look more like an evolution line.

    Combines Spore, Evil, and Lord but would read as “spore-vi-lord”. (Dropping the E would look weird – Sporvilord – but would read easier.)

    You could give it a signature move called devil fang because it’s also called the Devil’s tooth fungus
