Agree- if they are going to do these sorts of events, at least do a single global one for those of us in far flung places that don't have literally thousands to drop on going to catch a single pokemon that we don't even own after we catch it.
The regionals are bad enough, but at least those (all the Oceania ones anyway) get limited releases during events occasionally, so while much harder to get, they are somewhat available on a global scale. The City Safari events are so exclusive that most of us (aka general player base) have about as much of a chance at getting the gogoat dex entry, as a snowball does in hell… Don't even get me started on the likely hood of getting the shiny dex entry. 🙈🙉🙊☠
I mean it’s not like it’s just the US that plays Pokemon go…I’m sure people in Italy are saying the same thing about all the events in the US soooo
To me this is not asking you to travel to those locations from a very far place, if you can it's great but the idea is that if if there's an event close you may want to attend. Japan and the US are very far many and may need visa to enter so it's good to see that these events are expanding to other places
How war the doing a new Mon in the safari and we haven’t even got the first exclusive Mon yet alone had a city safari in America is crazy I never understood companies that cater to smaller markets instead of there money makers but what do you expect Nike does it too

The answer is obvious. Charge $1.00 per account for the chance to be able to trade with a lucky friend who you most likely never meet. (Make the odds reasonable… say 1 in 10.) Also, don't forget to put a time limit on it so it will vanish after a certain amount of time. (Say 24 hours.)
Im also sick and tired that the safari events are always in the same locations, why not just rotate them or make a global safari event. I dont even care if we get shinies or not

Poke Is right they definitely Need to mix and match these tours. And safari zones And yes, while they're at it definitely make a global safari zone.
Its no surprise, look at gmax, lots of people locked out of that, long distance trades would be nice, but unless your in direct contact with that person, how would you work out what to trade, every one wants something specific, they do these events in random places because they are mapping the world we already know this, people who spend thousands to travel around for pogo are usually content creators, pogo is thier livelihood. £20 a month used to be fine for me to play this game and get what i wanted, those days are long gone😂

Honestly feels a bit weird to see americain complaining about the one type of in person event that is not in the US. These safari events feels like they are more for the local communities, of course it s a pain to have shiny exclusif being release there but we all know they ll come globally at some point and I dont mind waiting.
I feel that it is a great thing that Niantic is allowing more countries to have in person event, and it s a bit strange to consider these as pricy event when the ticket is around 5-10 dollars and attending these will be cheaper for most people than going to a go Fest/Unova tour.

Most people are living outside US. It’s great that we non-Americans can get these fun events. I don’t complain when events were located in US or Japan. In fact, I’m kinda of used to it.

Im in the same boat yes i would love more than anything to attend these events and for those locations Fantastic! Definitely deserved to have events held at certain locations, but yeah financially it isn't possible also yes if another event came back in my case to the UK I'm down i can go see family otherwise it's a bust, but all this is personally speaking
In person events are always a skip. They are never near where i am & ill never travel for a video game

india is the cheapest for yall to travel to. the hotels are really cheap and the event ticket is only 5 usd
to be honest, seing complains that italy got event, when usa gets gofest every years, together with safari zones and tour event is weird. yes, nia should do more local events, and majority of these events should have global version, but having something in italy is nice change.

I think these safari zones are to throw a bone to places where they just aren't going to ever put a go fest or a go tour. Go fest is going to have an America location, an Asia location and a European location but they are all going to be in pretty major hubs. Go tour same thing. Now, if they had 4 Safari zones like was shown here and then after all 4 completed we got a global one I would play the hell out of that. From a lot of the videos I've seen the Safari zone's aren't getting the same attention from Niantic that the other big events get. It's basically the city explorer version day of go fest. I would love to travel for a pokemon event at least once. Maybe 2026 or 2027 will be my year, but from what I've seen the safari zones would not be worth it like the go tour, go fest or wild area would be.

Regardless of who the friend is, what the raid is, and even if you have 90 seconds, etc, to join, it still says the lobby expired?

I’m pretty sure most people play in the us. Why do they never hold these things in the US or Canada? There’s only ever been 1 in person event in Canada. We gotta have more. I personally want a summer go fest in Calgary. Great city, big area to play in, and it’s accessible to a lot more people

Hey I’m right there with you bro. Locking Pokemon behind eggs suck too. I’d love to be able to travel to some of these event especially in Japan but it’s not in the cards
I just wish niantic would make com days of pokemon that are exclusive to certain regions so ppl from regions that arent that region can get them like Corsola and heracross etc…
