The time ASH BODIED the POKEMON MASTER 8 TOURNAMENT

***ROAD TO 70K SUBS***

Today we’re gonna cover when Ash competed in the Pokemon masters 8 tournament against Leon, Alain, Cynthia, Iris etc. I have mixed opinions on this tournament because when the battles are good they are PEAK but when it’s bad it’s bad. Hope yall enjoy love yal to death. #ash #pokemon #ashvscynthia #ashvsleon #ashvsalain #pikachu #pokemonjourneys

  1. Lowkey Ash shouldve brought back his old pokemon for this tournament and they legit had a whole ass episode to sort the stupid vine thing with greninja and shouldve said there was a source and had to destroy it. Especially now greninja is also really strong too so he could pretty much beat mega charizard x.

  2. 20:48 Basically Gigantamax is a variant of Dynamax.

Dynamax is basically "the Pokèmon but bigger", while Gigantamax changes the Pokèmon's form and allows it to use exclusive moves.

  3. 14:30 Nah we gotta talk about this some more because Pikachu deadass left Mega Metagross with its 942.9 kg of pure steel flat on its head with an Iron Tail. Damn how hard does that rat hit?

Fire video, Brandon. Can't wait to see the finals covered!

  4. Dynamax = is making the pokemon big

Gigantamax = is making the pokemon big, but they also change forms/appearance

I.E. Togekiss getting big vs When Charazard getting big

  5. Dynamax is something all Pokémon can do in Gen VIII but only a select handful of them can unlock the ability to Gigantamax, which increases the growth effect while change their physical appearance as well. Not to mention that said group of Pokémon each gain a unique “G-Max” move to use.

  6. it’s 5 AM and i’m watching my first ever brandon video instead of going to sleep. ts actually gas tho

  7. Dynamax just makes the Pokemon big, gigantamax gives it a special look, like mega evolving but bigger, in the game this can only be achieved by giving a Pokemon gigantamax soup, you put the Kanto starters gigantamax forms in the video too

  8. So the "turning Kaiju" in Sword and Shield has 3 versions. "Dynamax" is when the Pokemon just gets bigger. Gigantamax is when the Pokemon get some sort of transformation or new form while also getting bigger. The 3rd version is "Eternamax" and that's exclusive to one obvious Sword and Shield Pokemon that turns from a skeletal dragon into a giant hand Straight outta Smash Bros, except this one has freaky eyes on its fingertips. And those are the three "Kaiju" transformation types in Pokemon.

  9. Alain aint no fraud, Leon is he definition of Plot armor 🤦‍♂️ Shi should've been 6v6 like full on Duking it out, these match ups also could've been so much better man

  10. Nah gang you ain’t convincing me ash’s newly caught and hatched Pokemon are nice enough to hang with champions like Steven and Cynthia. All I’m saying is the Pokémon journeys anime especially the masters 8 parts has a lot of micky mouse activity happening. Also Ash’s veteran mons should’ve been there

  11. If somebody wore Leon's clothes irl, in broad daylight, they're gonna be the main carnival attraction. Because there's no way you are gonna wear a cape over a sports attire

  12. He whooped ass in the alolan one as well, only thing im mad about is they made mah favorite Pokémon kinda dog water melmetal should’ve been more op mah bois win lose ratio is like 1/2 T-T they violated him

  13. This vidéo almost made up for the Greninja v Charizard bullshit they pulled, i'm still pissed about it.
Good vid bro i'll be here fo the finale ✊🏽

  14. 20:40 Gigantamax Pokemon, aside from getting big, get an exclusive G-max move, and they get a different design, while Dynamax can be used by any mon but they only get big and have access to normal max moves, no special treatment

  15. Gigantamax are just more special dynamaxes, because a dynamax is just a big version of the pokemon, while gigantamax they have some sort of quirk.

  16. lol he bodied no one,Steven should have won that first one with ease lets not lie ourselves, dont even get me started on Cynthia not using Komo-o and not mega evolving her ace or Leon handicapping himself by allowing Ash to use all gimmicks at once, case closed.

  17. i wish we got the rematch of kalos being ash vs alan then ash vs iris i feel like it would of been so much better than ash vs steven leon vs alan cynthia vs iris (tbf cynthia vs iris ISNT THAT BAD compared to the other two)

  18. Basically all Pokemon can Dynamax but some got that special treatment and get Gigantamax (Only 32 different pokemon can Gigantamax)

Edit: Here is a list of every pokemon that can Gigantamax if you wanna know:

Lapras, Pikachu, Eevee, Meowth, Snorlax, Charizard, Centiskorch, Dreadnaw, Kingler, Flapple, Appletun, Machamp, Gengar, Garbodor, Sandaconda, Corviknight, Orbeetle, Butterfree, Coalossal, Grimmsnarl, Copperajah, Duraludon, Hatterene, Alcremie, Toxtricity, Venausaur, Blastoise, Rillaboom, Cinderace, Inteleon, Urshifu

  19. dynamax is for when the pokemon just get big and gigantamax is for when the pokemon changes form too

  20. Basically Dynamax is the form that a Pokemon takes when it gets big but it doesn't have a special form, all it did was just get big. While Gigantamax is also getting big but with a new form like what Charizard did. Machamp, Gengar, Blastoise, etc can do it do.

So basically all Pokemon can Dynamax but not all of them can Gigantamax. You're pokemon has to have that ability.
