My dad got what I assume he thought would be a regular Pokémon tcg set online (not sure where) but it’s basically one of those ones where you get a bunch of commons/holos and like one V/Ex. He was super excited for me to open it and asked if I got some good pulls from it. I’m not one bit mad about it, initially I was kind of gutted and couldn’t bring myself to tell him he bought a predetermined bundle with no big pulls.
But despite that I’m mostly touched by how he tried rlly hard to find me something he knew I’d like. So at the end of the day it wasn’t about the pulls but it’s a sign that my dad cares about me and takes notice of my interests and really wanted to make me happy. I love him for that. Gonna keep the box and cards together so I can remember that.
Anyone else been bought scammy card sets by family/friends before?
