Left is from the usa while right is from Europe.

  2. Region. The left one is from the USA, as it has an ESRB rating and says USA in the bottom right corner. The right one is from Europe, it has a PEGI rating, and says EUR in the corner.

Switch will play both versions perfectly fine, regardless of version, as it is a region free console. Any DLC purchases have to be done in the region of the cartridge.

Sometimes there’s differences between region versions of games, but happens less often these days. Most likely differences is the European supporting different additional languages other than English.

Region doesn’t matter for most people, but there are some things worth knowing. Like if you download a demo of a game, and then buy a physical copy from another region, your save data might not carry over. I had to replay the prologue of FFXVI because Amazon weirdly ships a lot of EU versions of games.

Also, if you’re in the habit of trading games in at GameStop, they don’t accept foreign copies. I believe it has to do with the different rating systems.

    Nothing huge, but worth knowing.

Hi I can answer this! In the 18 up version the main protagonist has a very detailed intimate scene with a dragon. This was inspired from the hit series Shrek.
