But do you even play them all. Or even like them. If not then it was a waste of money imo.

Nintendo absolutely killed it with the Switch. Might be controversial but I do think Nintendo’s strategy of pushing remasters and remakes more than ever was a brilliant move and created an almost perfectly diverse portfolio. It introduced classics to a huge new audience and polished the games for their long time fans.
There were really only 2 primary weaknesses in this catalog I see.
First is that the pokemon games really just don’t meet that nintendo quality standard and polish. The graphics honestly look closer to a ps2 game and the games were so clearly rushed out instead of all these other nintendo games that have so much detailed care. Hoping that the games game a 3-4 year development cycle on the Switch 2 to get that Nintendo polish.
Second is that experimental nintendo game division kinda missed the mark on the switch. Nintendo with things like Wii Sports on the Wii, 3D gaming, Wii U gamepad like Nintendoland aren’t for everyone but they succeeded in what they set out to do. The switch with 1-2 switch type games and labo just missed the mark comparatively (and I liked BOTW VR). I’m expecting Switch 2 to rebound with experimental use of the extra port for things like VR, peripherals, 2nd screen gaming in a cool way.

While some games are certainly better than others, overall the Switch might have Nintendo’s strongest lineup ever. Multiple 10/10 games, fan favorite remakes, brand new IPs and long awaited sequels. Pretty much everyone got something.

I tried counting in my head, I think that’s 120 games

I have 30. Long way to go. How many have you finished?
lazoric
I think you’re missing Mario and sonic Tokyo Olympic games.
Separate-Cap-5334
I went through these a few times, I don’t see Metal Gear Solid vol.1
Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania, and Mario+Rabbids. From my collection.

So that’s around $6,780 if all the games were bought at full retail of $60. Some were priced at $50 so we’re looking at around $6500

God, I grew up with the DS and Wii, but even with my biased nostalgia with those console, I can admit the Switch is Nintendo’s best console.
Bobsplosion
Not sure if this interests you OP but you might consider picking up software revisions on certain carts. The SV DLC carts have like 5 or more each.
Zealousregent
It’s kind of crazy to think at an average of $30 a game. This comes to $3390.
PompeiiLegion
Pretty impressive that most of the Pokemon games released for the Switch were underwhelming and underdeveloped.
littlemushroompod
what about the eshop only games
Sleepinismy9to5
Nice dude. Are you missing Pokemon snap?
silentdaze

Now that I see it laid out like this, I’m realizing buying Nintendo console and sticking to the heavy hitter Nintendo published games is a valid strategy. You can absolutely enjoy the best there is on offer by sticking to what Nintendo published directly..:

I’m confused … I could have sworn there were more. Like octopath traveler 2…

Physical media is so beautiful.
BigBoobadies599
Not hating and love the games, but is this all the games that Nintendo published since 2017? Seems fairly low for 7 years right?
