So, for a long time, I've had the idea to rewrite the INXS song Mystify into a Pokémon context. It's one of those cases where the base idea is obvious (if you're familiar with both franchises), but the real "trick" is in the execution. I wasn't really sure what to do with it until after I saw the Detective Pikachu movie and thought, "what other characters could get this kind of treatment, and what would their tie-in song be like?", which gave me the idea to rework it as a female power anthem, with the idea that the performer could be addressing another person, a force of nature, whatever. I asked around to see who could record it (even contacting a few INXS tribute bands), and finally found Florencia here.
