Hi im new here and only joined to share this. As we all know Gen 5 (Black/White) theme is Balance. I was thinking about that when I was watching a video explaining every mythical pokemon (https://youtu.be/r_8WD-uja7w?si=DXQ7CZYJ6W8lOSC3). When the video got to Meloetta it hit me. Meloetta is the "Good" in human creativity (showing song and dance which is usually a theme for good and human celebration) and Genesect is the "Evil" (Team Plasma bringing back a long extinct pokemon, and mechanizing it solely for power and violence). You could say that the Evil in Good part for Meloetta is that Relic Song is an attack move rather than a status or support move. The Good in Evil part in Genesect could be in the anime where they were compassionate and learned that they still had a place in the modern world (I know theyre loose points im sorry). Even Keldeo has a part in this, as it could be the Balance part, because of its ties to the Swords of Justice and being a protector. Hopefully whoever reads this enjoys it 🙂
