I’ve had an idea for a fan game/region that would take place in an alternate universe. If I have my way, eventually I’d have an entire region of new Pokémon(a la Black and White) in a parallel universe, where I imagined there’d be some small difference(maybe all humans are slightly more yellow than ours? Different, “elf-y” ears, something like that) that may not seem major at first, like artistic, then the big punch line: eventually learning this game takes place in a mirror of our universe, and this is an alternate reality where the concepts of Pokemon exist, but none of the base game ‘mons are native to this region.
Nuances aside, the idea I had was for a mid game/lategame gimmick involving pokemon evolving in wild ways in other realities. This one, would be if you took a Wailmer to one of these realities, something like a post-supernova Earth, and evolve it there. That results in this form, due to the hostile and wild environment.
This form is Dragon/Fairy, and retains the original’s stats, but with a new move pool to compensate for it. Dunno exact moves, but moonblast, access to Draco Meteor, the works. If anyone’s got ideas for a unique ability or anything, I’m all ears!
This form came from two inspirations: it’s typing directly pulls from Endrom-Odai of Lockstin’s own Fan region, and the whole “Space Whale with Rainbows” is heavily inspired by Astrocetus, the literal space whales from Ark: Survival Evolved.
