The Pokemon Card Space is absolutely crazy right now. It seems stock is lower than it has ever been as demand continues to soar. Walking through Pokemon sections at Target and Walmart prove to be an empty trip as Pokemon Cards have been selling out everywhere.
Surprisingly, it isn’t just “popular” Pokemon Card Products that are doing well. Sure sets like Surging Sparks, Pokemon 151, and Crown Zenith continue to impress, but even unpopular sets like Pokemon GO have all the sudden started to sell out. In today’s video, we take a look at the rise in price of the Pokemon GO TCG. It is extremely important to note, that FOMO is something you need to avoid right now. Just because some Pokemon Cards are being bought up, does not mean that you should be buying them. It is vital to remember to focus on your Pokemon Card Collecting goals, and not buy in to all of the decisions being made by others.

Me and my brother got a ton of Pokemon go actually. It was funny because pokestops were hard to find for so many and I had like 20-30 and was just trading them like they were nothing

Pokémon Go is actually a fun set to open and collect. I’m glad it didn’t really get crazy priced initially. I have two Master Sets.
I still play Pokemon go. Just got in the the TCG hobby and would like to rip some pogo packs. Prices are still decent not horrible but pack price vs card worth in the set is disappointing to put it mildly. I hope it keeps going north.

It really is crazy that they introduced V star cards just right before they were going to end V pokemon and switch to Ex.
There is a huge Pokemon Go exclusive event in February 2025 in LA and Taiwan, so I think people are getting ready for that!

I do think a lot of youtubers only talking about value and investing and ''this card is going nuts'' and so on is not helping at all. But as you said – for the most part it's just a lack of supply. I also think Pokemon changing the pull rates to be harder was not a great call at all either (especially combined with the lack of supply on top).
Yeah, it's getting ridiculous again. I saw the vendor restocking. There was go among the items. I came back 4 hours later. Everything was gone.
POGO was the most underrated set of swsh. Literally every card is stamped AND it’s nearly a Gen-1 set. Gold mewtwo, rainbow mewtwo and dragonite. Plus an alt art mewtwo. It was a no brainer to invest in at $2 a pack

Its true what they say about investing, "when you read the news, you're already too late." I bought up $10,000 dollars worth of this when everyone else was distracted by the weakling house cat named eevee……eevee's popularity says everything you need to know about the Pokémon community, they prefer a small house cat over say, i dont know, a giant fire breathing dragon named Charizard???!! How is obsidian flames STILL one of the cheapest sets?????!?!?!?!?! i mean CMON!!!!!!! What's wrong with you sissys!! Eevee is literally a basic normal type house cat, the most boring of them all…..oh wow it evolves into other cats…..whoopty stinkin doo!
I still see it at my local stores for the team pin boxes. I pick up a box or 2 if I see it, but lately even after restock the walls have been empty even with limits set.

$50 for a pkmn go etb? Hell nah. Tbf tho, i remember in 2016 when i got back into pokemon my LGS was selling boxes of evolutions on clearance for like $60 a box, they couldnt even move it at the time. Now its super expensive. You never know
