Reviewing the syllabus is boring so I drew my favorite Pokemon. My favorite Pokemon artist is Tomokazu Komiya so I tried taking inspiration from his art style a bit and mix it with my art style.
I prefer using graphite and making things black and white in my artwork, which is opposite from Tomokazu’s bright and colorful art, but the lines are the part that was inspired by his art style. One of my favorite cards by him is Haunter (151 set) which has a lot of straight lines, almost giving a glitch sort of look to Haunter. You can also see this effect on Oricorio from Crown Zenith, Psyduck (SM Promo), among others.
I would love to continue drawing Pokemon combining my style and Tomokazu’s style and exploring different parts of his style, so if theres any Pokemon anyone would like to see me draw next I would love to try so just lmk!
