Kudos for giving an interesting lore and redesign to one of the blandest Pokemon species out there.
Design-wise, the only thing I would change is the design of the helmet so it looks more natural (e.g. made of seashells), and perhaps making the tusks slighly curved.
As for the type, I think keeping either of the original types (Water or Ice) would be appropriate. After all, the animals these Pokemon are based on are marine creatures from cold biomes. I’m partial to Ice/Fighting because it’s the rarest combination so far, shared only by Crabominable.
