  1. Just keep holding bro eventually you’ll be able to pay that child support in Pokemon cards

  2. Lumpy-Birthday-3548

$26k on Pokemon cards, you gotta crank those numbers up!!

  3. prophecy250

That’s what happens when you don’t have cash flow, use a credit card as a “business” loan and fail to sell and get paid before the bills are due. If no one buys at scalper prices, there will be a race to the bottom when those bills are due.

  4. Independent_Lunch534

    Buy high… sell… erm… oh I have a loan to pay

  5. Prestigious-Earth112

Running to Dave Ramsey after failing at scalping is the least suprising thing ive seen all year

  6. RidinCaliBuffalos

Better then the scam post advertisements I’ve seen recently

  7. Cobester

The only way i see someone losing this much is if they bought all that product to rip open and didn’t hit anything

“ItS a GrEAt InVeSTmEnT” r/pokemoninvesting get bent

His problem wasn’t buying and selling physical stock (pokemon cards) it was subscribing to marketing and sponsored post campaigns that didn’t convert his marketing dollars into faithful customers. It takes a real idiot to lose money on pokemon cards

  11. nummorum

The saddest part of it all was he only bought 3 Prismatic ETB’s

  12. supadupacam

If yall watch the whole video, bro wasn’t even scalping. It’s even worse lol

  13. Confident-Willow1767

Let this be a lesson learned to all. TCGs are a hobby not a casino.

  14. TrandaBear

Dude you need to sell shit for 20% above that you paid to just BREAK EVEN. And even then profit margins are low. 26K in 4 months with a 5% ROI is like $325 a month. Just get a fucking job

  15. xTheRedDeath

People need to stop treating this shit as a cash flip lol. I thought collecting was a long term investment but looks like influencers duped people.

Good for him. Ex-wife will be happier without him. Yeah, its sad story, but…

  17. Economy_Pressure_847

I actually feel bad for his wife, spending 26k on something you dont even know with certainty that is gonna give you benefit is so ridiculous

  18. BeatriceDaRaven

On the full thing, he was actually mostly blowing it on streamer rip and ships like a dumbass. Supposedly as like advertising for his ebay/store but the guy is dumb as bricks for sure

    😏

Karma works in mysterious ways (getting into credit card debt is retarded)

  20. Bro if you are reading this, I just want to say… LMAAAOOOOOOOO

  21. starlight_collector

    The sweet smell of justice.

  22. rupat3737

I find it hard to believe he couldn’t even unload his stock at msrp and break even. Unless he invested in slabs or non sealed product.

  23. malocchio-

This is what I hope for all scalpers

  24. Naps_And_Crimes

At that point start opening them up and hope you get some good pulls

  25. Sidequestcat

I want to offer him a gamestop offer. Lol

  26. firestarter788

Finally, the downfall of pokeinvesting has begun. Weeks of praying at the foot of my bed, begging to go back to SM era before the 50 year old married investorbros attacked is finally being answered.
Seriously though, this is why ~~scalping,~~ ~~flipping,~~ “short term investing” in fucking Pokemon cards is a bad idea, especially when you have no clue what you’re doing lol like yes!!! let me raid target and stock up on sets still in print!! The guy who posted himself hauling off a whole surging sparks display better watch out, you’re next fr

This is why I never once bought a sealed product that I intended to keep with a credit card. If I don’t have it in my bank right then, I don’t need it.
