As title says, we only have three mono flying types in the game, and the majority of pairings flying has is the normal type. So I decided to base a line off of the massive real life bird, the albatross. And I included a size reference in this post just to show how massive these guys get
So for Albatruss, it’s just albatross and stratus mashed together. I originally planned for there to only be Stratotross, but with how massive they are, I felt a pre-evo was necessary. The things on the side of its head aren’t ears, they’re cloud-like feathers that droop down to mimic the straps of those aviator headgear, also why he gas that goggle like mask marking around his eyes. And I didn’t include a size reference for Albatrus, but just know for a pre-evo they are still quite big. Maybe around 2’8”?
Stratotross is stratosphere and albatross mashed together. These guys aren’t no legendary or anything despite their size, they’re just massive birds. The main reason they exist is cause I wanted a form of aerial travel in my region, so based one off of clouds and one of the biggest birds out there. They are the ones who create all the clouds in the sky, and can fly for days without needing to rest. They also have a thick cloudy pouch on their chest to hold their pre-evo’s. This is so they can ride along and gain experience with the evolution to be able to become as skilled as flying as their evolution one day. When there are no pre-evo’s in the pouch, trainers can easily fit their belongings in there for when they travel
