Z-A is a Switch 1 game.
Like, it could get a cross gen version (though that’s fairly unlikely), but doing a special edition Switch 2 for what is, at its heart, a Switch 1 game would be really weird.

I noticed in the reveal trailer that the interior colors of the system itself are color coded. Which made me wonder if the connecting part of special edition controllers would try to match that color or not.
Example here, yours is green and does not.

This made me realize that if you buy the red/blue console they showed and eventually get different colored joycons, they’ll no longer match the slots in the console.
