You can also pin a postcard and immediately unpin the post card. This will still give you credit towards your Vivillian counters but it won't fill up your postcard book.

Been waiting for this for so long. I have been grinding for perfect Scatterbugs from every region since it was released. I have 7 different regions in perfect IV with over 2,500 Scatterbugs caught and over 15k candy already. Bring on the shiny!

Does 1 shiny scatterbug count for all the different vivillons? Example: I catch a Sand Scatterbug shiny, and trade it with a Meadow Scatterbug shiny, will it be a unique trade?
The better strategy is to pin and immediately unpin the ppstcard. Still count. So you don't need to clean your postcard book.
