You're delusional if you think the game will get better. It'll go from a 2 out of 10 to a 1 out of 10. This is like the one thing worse than Niantic, it gets sold to Saudi Arabia. If it gets sold i hope it goes to anyone else. Happened with WWE. Saudi wabted it, then they took another offer.

It's the Saudi Arabia public investment fund. They use their blood money to buy sports leagues, video game companies, anything they can use to whitewash their public image. And to diversify their porrfolio so it isn't just gas money. They don't care about pokemon or any other game. They just monetize, put in ads, and turn everything into pay to win and pay to play. You're nuts if you think anything good will come of this. You're acting like some beloved game developer is buying it. Delusional man.

Just my opinion, but bringing bottlecaps is a terrible idea. It's the reason why we do the raids to get a chance to get a 100% IV, but it's just my opinion

Bottle caps for money is a terrible idea, because most likely the chance of getting a hundo will almost forsure drop to zero but the chance of getting a 14/15/15 tho. And this is happening at all Taco bells I had to do the same thing because it was 1/4 of the tiny container, I'm not joking when I say it wasn't enough for one chip 🙄

I see this implemented via Best Buddy Souvenir (do you remember those?). Like reach Best buddy and you'll get a chance to find it ok the gift you Buddy finds on the way. And just like in the main series the golden cap should have a limit, six per pokemon. Because if you can buy this item it will lose its meaning

you are delusional if you think this new company is gonna fix the game, they are just gonna put way more monetization and make it pay to win, so i can see why you already like them since you prob expend more than 200$+ on this game monthly and are gonna be able to keep ahead the rest of the players because you are gonna keep paying, what you dont realize is that there is not gonna be any other players exept the ones that also pay and most other players are just gonna quit
Another cool idea for how to get bottle caps is for after you hit level 50, every extra 20million exp you get, you get a bottle cap. So you grind to get them
This is wishful thinking as we’ve seen before, we all want better but I don’t see how this company is thinking about stuff like this. They’re thinking about a portfolio margin, most games that get sold off end up going down hill. Not always but most of the time.

People need to calm down and stop being so pessimistic and negative, niantic has screwed up so many times and when we are potentially getting positive changes by getting a game focus company people wanna b!tvh like crazy, saying “niantic isn’t so bad after all “ after the fact that Niantic is selling the game because they are focus on mapping and AR , these people gotta be sped seriously, I think the game might get better with this new company even tho they have a bad micro transaction history, I think they will be clever with Pokémon go

I don’t like the idea of scopely buying it really scares me man that company is sooo pay to win right now I’m spending like $100 a month in game on remote raid passes and eggs I could see that going up exponentially I almost feel like I’m more comfortable staying with a subpar niantic then shooting into the dark with scopley… I’ve invested so much time in this game it’s really scary to hear someone might buy it

ugh. man. don't even get me started on taco bell nacho cheese. i went through a kick a few months ago where i tried to find out how i can just buy their big supply packs of it outright, cuz the "taco bell queso" sold in stores is nowhere near the same as the kind you get from the restaurant. some people said it's not possible to buy it on any online store, but some people have gotten lucky and bought it from managers of restaurants, so i called every. single. one. in and of every town around me. none of them bit. that tiny. pathetic. weak ass excuse of a "cup" of cheese that comes with shitty chips is. not. it. dawg. 5 fuckin chips and it's GONE. no. i need the fuckin supply pack that pumps the cheese INTO those stupid little cups. taco bell pisses me off so hard with how coveted they keep that cheese. fucking assholes. they'd make so much money just selling the bags of that shit. thankfully after trial and erroring every company under the god damned sun i FINALLY found a pretty on par stand in. El Mexicano nacho cheese sauce. it ain't perfect, but it's pretty damn close. way closer than anything anyone else suggested, like fritos nacho cheese. (which i can't blame them for thinking it was. fritos is the company that makes the cheese for taco bell. but it's not as close as el mexicano is).
now as for the pogo stuff. i agree with your ideas, however, i wanna max out my eevos. and other trash mons so they can be somewhat relevant. just because. bottlecaps aren't some ultra rare hyper coveted item in the main games. they shouldn't be here either. hell, maybe include them in every gift that comes from a country that isn't your own to encourage making friends with peeps all over the world.
speaking of all over the world. i really hope they add global trading. global trading has been an integral part of pokemon since the mid 00s. why the hell isn't it on the game that ALL about getting out and making connections all over the place?
another thing i want them to do is give special strength increases to purified pokemon to encourage players to, ya know, not keep pokemon suffering in pain with locked hearts :v my idea would be that purified pokemon can be powered up to level 55 or 60. so they stand above mons that didn't have to put up with that whole traumatic process. while shadow pokemon, like in the game they came from, are pretty much locked up. they only have shadow moves, which are super effective against everything, and not weak to anything, are indeed much stronger as they are, but can't level up until they're purified, at which point, all their missed power ups get added back all at once. (also add a purification spots on the map just like the power spots, where you can put a shadow mon in, surrounded by other mons that sync well with it, and when the purification spot disappears after its 2 days, like the power spots, all the pokemon return to you and the shadow mon is purified. just a nice little way to purify a mon for free and ties it back in with the theme of what a shadow pokemon is in the first place.
the biggest thing they need to do though. is balancing the costs for powering up pokemon. it makes no sense that maxing out my pink furret named cotton candy blows a hole through my stardust bank the same way a mega cray cray does. that's insane. it should cost like, next to nothing in comparison. who thinks it's ok to have to grind for literal years just to max out 1 of every eevo too? like come on. a couple of them are somewhat viable sure, but most are basically F tier for everything. should be cheap as hell to max them out.
Funny how many players were super harsh on niantic and crying about putting things behind a $2 paywall.. now enjoy everything potentially being pay to play in game

6:47 at this point in the game I would not be upset if they made it to where you could pay to play or let us buy as many bottle caps as we wanted think about it what's the one thing that Niantic has been against and never did anything about spoofing you can spoof around and get all the 100% Pokemon that you want show us honest players are always stuck with 98 96% IVs we legitimately walked around and got them I never would have a problem spending money to buy bottle caps to boost the IVs on my legitimate Pokemon that I've captured however it would be a scumbag he thing but over the past two to three years of Pokemon go whatever they basically made us pay for everything so I'm in favor of letting us unlimitedly by the bottle caps
