Theyre the very first pokemon designs ive done, as well as the first digital art ive done in a good while, so theyre quite dear to me haha

Turtle and birdle are my favorites of the three. But it is interesting that the animals you’ve based these on already have starter representation in those same types.
Grass Frog – Bulbasaur (more of a toad, but close enough)
Fire Chick – Torchick (another stretch)
Water Turtle – Squirtle
I’m not saying it’s wrong, especially because these feel like they’d be very different from those starters, I just think it’s interesting.
