The grass line is based on a megaloceras or the Irish elk, northern Ireland's (extinct) national animal, the fire line based on a sheep (obviously) with a tail that burns of as it evolves, because farmers (painlessly) cut off their tails when their lambs. The water line is just a lobster/crab because northern Ireland doesn't have any interesting semi-aquatic animals.
