Last bit of the title seems like click bait as a price range was NEVER announced. Also, the website is pay walled for stories. Users only get so many to view depending on what platform they’re using.

Loving the price. Especially in todays climate where everything is getting more expensive

  3. What happens when they pull a PS5 and only have 17 nation wide

I remember you couldnt even buy the Switch and people were buying the games months in advance. It was crazy. If I’m able to get the Switch 2 at launch I will because A: Its not getting any cheaper, and B: I’m certain I’ll get my money worth out of it.

I don’t absolutely hate a console with that price tag if it has enough to justify buying it.

I’ve wanted a PS5 since release, but there’s just not enough that appeals to me to justify spending that much money

At $400 plus I would rather get a steam deck

Exciting news! Do we have any details on the launch titles yet?

I mean so long as it has a Mario, Zelda, F-Zero, Fire emblem, Animal Crossing, Splatoon, Punch out, Nintendogs, Pikmin, Pokemon, Star Fox, Metroid & Smash Bros at launch I’m sure Nintendo fans won’t be disappointed…

Whatever. My parents bought a trampoline and I can jump on it whenever I want.

However, the latest installment of my favorite game has never been released.

Paywalled clickbait, why is this shit posted?

Don’t be surprised if it it’s more than 399. If the chipset really is almost double that what the X1 cost Nintendo at Switch launch, then Nintendo won’t be eating the cost difference. They’ll simply raise the RRP.

Nintendo only ever eats cost when their hand is forced (sudden 3DS price drop when sales stagnated in 1st year). They won’t do that beforehand.

I know it be a lot to ask from Nintendo but honestly if Switch 1 games run better on Switch 2 then that will be enough for me to justify it at launch even if it’s only MK9 day 1

Man I hope they’ve been making these consoles for over a year otherwise the chip shortages are gonna absolutely wreck the launch.

“-Plus”: 😖. I’ll wait then. It’s not worth it.

I’m expecting the Switch 2 to cost $449.99 at launch and don’t see any immediate drop in Switch prices. I’m saying this based on inflation and the various geopolitical issues currently at hand. I don’t plan on getting a Switch 2 at launch and will continue to enjoy the OLED until the Switch 2 has a larger catalog of games and supply can keep up with demand.

I’m already preparing for the cost. Got multiple games set aside to trade in and my base model switch (I upgraded to the oled when the Zelda one came out)
