400€+ would be way to much for the market Nintendo is aiming at… not to say it wont happen, but then i wont buy at launch but the non debatable prize drop, like with the 3DS

“That’s not all—third-party support is expected to be much stronger than in previous Nintendo generations.”

If I had a GameCube and some duct tape for every time I’d heard that I’d have two Nintendo Wiis

If it was $499… it’s still gonna sell a ton

According to who? Someone’s uncle who works at Nintendo?

I’m so freaking excited for the Direct………

    My wishlist:

    – Mario Kart 9 (obviously)

    – new 3D Mario

    – Switch 2 UI and other OS improvements (eShop, voice chat, etc.)

    – new Pro Controller

    – the Switch Online Playtest game from last year

    – GameCube & DS on Switch Online

    – a fun (hopefully free pack-in) game that really shows off the new mouse feature

oh and there’s also the C button, but tbh I assume it’s a Cursor button to toggle between sticks and mouse mode (although i hope it’s a push to talk button)

  6. Can we like temporarily ban posting about “reports” and “rumors” about the Switch 2? We’re literally like three weeks off from the direct and posts like this don’t really do much to foster productive discourse.

Predict vs expect are two very different things

If more than 400 it’s a flop in todays economy

  9. mightynifty_2

“Industry analysts predict” so in other words… Absolute garbage.

No, it’s coming out May 15th.

Eek… wish it had OLED at that price… or offer a cheaper model that only connects to a TV

There better be a new 3d Mario game. I am still shock that the last new 3d Mario game we got was in 2017

$400 is my cut off for launch. If it’s more I’ll wait there’s plenty to play elsewhere

  14. KCLenny

Mark this as it is. Baseless speculation/rumours.

  15. StevynTheHero

Hmmm, should I go bonkers over rumors?

Or be sane and wait for the confirmed direct that will give me factual info straight from Nintendo’s mouth?

    Decisions, decisions.

  16. Maleficent_Nobody377

I bet we get a release date then- when E3 usually would have been

$400 US, this sucker will be $600 Canadian.

Love these articles that just base things on “analyst” speculation, without citing any hard facts or solid sources. Nothing is confirmed until Nintendo actually confirms it. This is nothing but clickbait.

  19. DeliciousSelf1175

These are all speculation points from analysts btw, no insider info or anything credible to these claims. Just educated guesses.

20 million units expected to sell in the first year? Switch 1 sales were a little under 18 million in its first year, so this could be possible. But if there’s any trouble on the horizons for worldwide markets (looking at you, US) they might not get there

  21. littlescylla

For that price, i think i’ll wait for a potential BF bundle with a bonus, unless there’s a big 1st party game i feel like i need to grab ASAP

  22. Level9_CPU

Please just give us a new Mario Kart. PLEASE

  23. KrazyNinjaFan

I need me some dragon ball sparking on switch 2! And scrabble
