My first attempt at a fakemon

Here's my first fakemon, Omnily. This being a water starter with the new type of cosmic that I wanted to mess with. It's based on the myth idea that octopi are really aliens that came from outer space. In its first stage, the lights represent stars and glow in accordance of direction. Trainers use them to help map there way at night. Of course Ive sketched out two more evolutions, but wanted to see the feedback on this before continuing. As far as artistic style. I'm still trying to figure out pokemon shading and highlights. Nonetheless I think the color palette is pretty solid.
