Why are people shitting on the art style? The appeal of the TCG is that there’s an art style for everyone – any art style you can think of, and there’s probably at least one card or artist who does it, or extremely close.
This is the exact type of art style I love, so I will be buying an ETB or single.
Okay it’s not for you – don’t buy it, or sell it. I thought the Magneton ETB promo was too busy and unappealing, so I didn’t get the ETB. Same as I’ve done with multiple promos in the past. I don’t like Mewtwo, I don’t buy Mewtwo cards or promos.
The artist did a great job. It’s cute, it’s colourful, it’s got character. It’s just not for everyone.

I like the art, but I’m pretty disappointed that despite bringing back Trainer + Pokemon cards *and* it being a Team Rocket set they didnt’t make it Jessie and James’ Wobbuffet. It just would’ve made so much sense??
