First mistake was going to Sony of all studios to make a live action adaptation of an extremely beloved franchise……fucking lol

Great. It’s going to take 6-9 hours over the span of 7-8 years to stab a pig overlord in the heart.

    Exusssee me, princess.

Hear me out….what if each movie was a different Link/Zelda in the timeline with the same Ganon returning to cause shenanigans.

I love this franchise so much and that’s *precisely* why I hate the fact that this is live action. Ghibli or Wii U tech demo-style, I don’t care, just give us animation.

The only way for it to feel like Zelda and feel like an “Adventure” is to make it a Trilogy honestly. Not saying it should be the OOT story, but using it for this example: This first movie should be up to pulling the Master Sword and Ganon getting into the Sacred Realm.

Going to too much areas in the game, too many city’s, characters will make it feel rushed with too much packed in. And the key is that it needs to feel like an Adventure with its pacing. So one story, told through several movies is the way to go.

I will be amazed if this movie actually comes out when they say it will. All these studios love to announce multi year plans for their movies but they all consistently push back release dates

With Chris Pratt as Link and The Rock as Ganondorf, right?

im confused why they went to Sony and not universal ?

Very nervous about this. Tonally I’m not sure you can make Zelda live action without either completely disrespecting the source material or being cringe
