Sinnoh Upgrade is pretty great for me, which is kinda sad to say as a Hoenn fan as I can’t say the same for Hoenn Upgrade lol.

0:11 – Strike + Field vs. Rock-weak Blue: EX-R Geeta / EX-R Variety Hop / EX-R N

Area 1 Strike + Field has two possibilities, and they’re both pretty good. I got the Strike-heavy one, which I’m quite happy with as there’s a lot of room for multiplier bonuses.

1:09 – Strike + Tech vs. Ghost-weak Phoebe: EX-R Anni Lillie / EX-R Klara / EX-R Classic Blue

Got CBlue to 5/5 via mix scout this month, so I’m excited to use his debuffs in rally as he always finds his way in my roster each week haha.

3:24 – Strike + Sprint vs. Hau-Hop-Calem Battle Challenge: EX-R SS Gladion / EX-R SS Nemona / EX-R SS Lear

This stage is meant for Bede, and this being Fairy-weak on a Strike-Sprint stage meant my picks were very obvious lol.

5:00 – Rival Upgrade purchase

Of course. The fun thing is that this allows me to have teams with double upgrade bonuses for quite a lot of the remaining stages.

5:14 – Field + Support vs. Psychic-weak Kahili: EX-R Variety Marnie / EX-R Variety Thorton / EX-R SS Morty

Still funny to me that VMarnie is meant to be the support of the Variety Galar Rival trio, but her B Move is that strong lmao.

6:56 – Strike + Field vs. Ice-weak Drake: EX-R Mix Blue / EX-R Akari / EX-R SS Morty

Reused SS Morty as I like using him with Mix Blue, but sadly I didn’t have any of his Sunny Day MPs left haha.

9:23 – Strike + Tech vs. Steel-weak Glacia: EX-R SS Hau / EX-R SC Barry / EX-R Lear

SC Barry does double-duty here as he covers both upgrades. It’s been a while since I ran into this stage in CS and why did I have to deal with four Blizzards back to back lmao

11:39 – Tech + Sprint vs. Team Break Battle Challenge: EX-R SS Wally / EX-R Battle Tower Leon / EX-R Classic Elesa

This stage is meant for SS Lusamine. Messiest clear of the run, but still pretty easy.

14:48 – Strike + Support vs. Psychic-weak Flint: EX-R Emma / EX-R NC Bianca / EX-R Penny

Was a bit worried about this stage as I wanted to save both NC Blue and Arc Cynthia for Area 10, but thankfully it ended up being a CS stage. Took a while to get through as it’s a Sinnoh CS stage, but these three thankfully pulled through.

18:41 – Strike + Sprint vs. Water-weak Lance: EX-R NC Silver / EX-R Rei / EX-R Paulo

Nice that I got to use Silver against Lance haha. Was also funny to use two sure-flinch B Moves back to back.

20:23 – Strike + Support vs. Argenta: EX-R Arc Cynthia / EX-R NC Marnie / EX-R NC Blue

Got Argenta as my VH Area 10 for the second week in a row, and I’m definitely not complaining with getting an easy stage consecutively. It let me get a 12k run without a lucky area – which meant this could’ve potentially been a 13k run.
