Pokemon Trading Card Game

Just pulled this from a sealed booster pack… devastated

All the other cards are in perfect condition, big (scuff?) revealing holo printing underneath

Ouch that’s unlucky! Sorry this happened boss!

  2. aftp302

Ugh, I’m so sorry that happened to you! I’ve opened 400+ packs of JT so far and only pulled 1 SIR (same one) and know if mine has looked like that I would have been even more devastated.

  3. Similar thing happened to me opening Twilight Masq. Greninja has 3 white lines on the back and black dots all over the “Pokémon” logo. 🥲

Why is N crying? Does he need another PP Up?

  5. consordina

Nooo that’s my chase, I’d be devastated too

It’s the most aesthetic spot to have such a defect

  7. sad_boi890

i would grade that still could be worth something

  8. StandardUS

Stfu that’s the mega rare sadboi illustration rare. Deff could sell it with a meme title on eBay for double market. Someone would meme purchase 2am on a Saturday

If the texture isn’t messed up there it’s an ink error

Tbh the rare moment where the damage lines up in a way that like… looks almost better? And if you know N’s story it feels on point. Just saying, if that was part of the artwork it gives a new vibe that I dig.

I’m sorry man that’s really unfortunate

I’ll pay $10 more than it’s actually worth

  13. ObsidianAerrow

Actually, this defect works. It’s so aesthetic.

Crying N error card psa 10 for $10k, no lowball I know what I have

  15. Minute_Role_8223

damn, quality control for eng cards is abysmal

I mean, good for the misprint hunters I guess but damn

  16. ConcaveEarth

This is no longer just a defect

    It’s a 1 of 1 crying N

The current value is minimum 2x whatever the ‘standard’ version of this card is.

Who’d want to standard version when you can have the 1 of 1 crying N ?

I would hold, or perhaps sell saturday at 3am like the other gentlemen recommend

  17. henrysg

If that can get graded as an error then you will hit a jackpot 🙂

  18. Sorry for your loss! At least you can use it for what it was actually made for now tho!

  19. flareonfan27

This is so sick I’d pay more honestly

  20. AffectionateDuck5593

    WHO JIZZED ON N?! 🥀🥀

pokemon is wild in the fact that you gamble and then win, only to find out you lose most of it from the factory defect “tax”. sometimes that defect tax CAN make it more valuable than less.

Though this one pretty unique. you might be able to make $$$ by claiming it a 1/1 crying N defect card. Sometimes people will fuk with with these types of defect.

    god luck

Can’t you reach out to Pokémon and request a new one ?

  23. AdRevolutionary8138

If no one else has I’ll buy off you 😂

  24. MRBoose39

Fr. I’ll send you my mint N in exchange. I’ll pay postage.

I had this exact damage from 1 card out of pack of journey together. The Holo layer is scraped all to hell. But it was just one card out of the whole pack. Was weird af.

  26. SpaceOwl5

Bro this is actually awesome. Put it in a binder next to the Misty’s Tears card (the one with Squirtle).

  27. Bravo_GngDrk

I need it so BAD! My girlfriend pulled The Clefairy SIR.

  28. Hecticz_Ebike

I read you can contact the pokemon center about damaged cards. I’ve heard a lot of people having success in getting replacements sent to them. I believe I also saw a post not to long ago about it as well. Not sure if it’s true but worth a look.

    N’s tears go incomprehensibly hard

  30. itskenjie

He’s crying for you because of how much you’ve spent in Pokemon cards.

  31. Relevant-Tax-2414

That’s a sick card I don’t know why you are complaining it adds so much character to the card
