Poindrake, the Quizzical Pokémon; evolves from Inshellect at Lv 30. Poindrake's blessing and curse is its ever-growing brain. A trainer's failure to stimulate its sharp mind can sometimes cause it to become violent.

Dragenius, the Mad Genius Pokémon; evolves from Poindrake at Lv 50. The formulas, equations, and riddles it learned as a Poindrake constantly play through Dragenius's mind, driving it mad. It boasts an IQ of 300.

Origins:

This line of pseudo-legendary fakemon tie heavily into the story and themes of a hypothetical Lyndom game series, Pokémon Rust and Chrome. The main character Evan is a professor's intern studying at the University of Lyndom, and so I wanted to design a line of pseudo-legendaries that reflect the region's academia. Inshellect is a play on the word "egghead" with the eggshell stuck to its head. Poindrake's name is poindexter+drake, and its big head and bowtie-shaped neck fur are intended to recall the archetype of a school nerd. Dragenius's name comes from dragon and genius, of course, and its head crest is intended to resemble a big brain. Dragenius's mustache and extended tongue reference the famous photograph of Albert Einstein.

Dragenius has a signature move, Brain Burst, where it releases a crushing psychic wave after gathering energy from the neurons in its brain.
