Like so many, Mewtwo is my favorite Pokemon. I remember fondly holding on to the Masterball during my play through of Pokemon Red on my Gameboy untill I got the chance to capture him during the end game. So obviously Mewtwo was my go to as far as Pokemon card collecting, but I only ever made it as far as Fossil when I was a kid before losing interest.
Well, when 151 dropped my flame was ignited and I started scooping up raw Mewtwo singles to assemble a collection of every English printed Mewtwo card.
This is the collection so far, but it's missing some items from my childhood collection that's deep in my storage unit, a base set 1st Edition, Shadowless and unlimited Mewtwo. My childhood collection also has my copy of the 2nd Mewtwo promo card.
Outside of that I'm pretty happy with a couple years worth of collecting. What remains are the really big ticket items that I have not been ready to drop four digits on quite yet. There's also a few more under $100 that I need to scoop.
They're stored in an Ultra Pro fire resistant binder, and once my childhood collection is retrieved I will add what I have of my 1st edition base and shadowless set with the hopes of finishing it as well. (Not likely Charizard though!)
