I really hate the pink and baby blue color scheme. Always have. I thought for sure we’d see an alternate system with neutral accent colors; gray, white, or black. Maybe I’d like the default colors better if they were less pastel. A deep red and blue would look nice.
Am I alone in this?

Edit: For everyone saying it's not pink, all of the promo footage from Nintendo has made the "light red" joy-con look pink. Also- what is pink if not "light-red"? Lawyered.

Personally I’d love a *more* colourful option, the Switch 2 already looks pretty neutral to me.
Nah, not colorful enough to me. I’m kinda bummed the colors are just highlights this time around. I’m hoping we’ll see bolder color choices in the future.
Pink?
Yeah I’d love a pure black. It’s not even the colors I have the issue with, its them being two different colors on one switch.
I’m super nostalgic for the old Gameboy Color and N64 colors. Super rich and saturated deep colors. I’ve been less excited for the newer pastel colors and elected to get a grey switch.
Ultimately it doesn’t matter I suppose, but if they didn’t want to offer up some color options, a grey/black one would be nice.

Yep, I’m not a fan of the red/blue.
I would like a deeper color palette, but more actual color. It’s just black with colored highlights.

I really like the current color scheme, but admittedly I’m a person whose idea of colorful is “gray, with a little splash of something”. Like a charcoal suit with a pocket square
Switch 2 is neutral enough for me. And that’s what I want.
I bought the gray joycon version at switch 1 launch. I later bought neon red/blue joycons – they did look cool. But in the long run, I ended up preferring the preppier gray joycon look.
Not really, I’m kind of glad about it, actually, because it means I don’t have to worry about which one I get when I preorder.

Honestly I’m fine with them using the neon colors somewhere because I feel like it’s just been ingrained in the Switch’s visual identity at this point. I love that we’re getting a black console finally so this is a compromise I’m willing to make
One Sku makes more sense for a launch when your main goal is to just get as many as possible made available to consumers. There will be revisions and different models and joycons later on im sure.
Don’t really mind the colors, I’m kind of basic I guess, and just like monotone colors unless there’s a special edition of a game I like such as Metroid. Think the best looking system Nintendo ever made was the glacier/ivory white DS Lite.
Minimalist and non flashy designs are my preference

Black is pretty neutral for me. It’s not enough color. I do not like all black joy-cons with only color on the side of the joy cons. I like the joy-cons having fun color not just on the side. Same goes for the console itself. I just hope they release a Mario edition of the console like they did with the og switch and the OLED. I refuse to get the Mario edition of the OLED because I already have an OLED. I do love the look of the dock for the Mario edition of the OLED I love how they put Mario on the back of the dock. I wish I had the back replacement parts to switch out for the Mario edition of the console and so I wouldn’t have to buy a totally new Switch OLED just to have the Mario edition of the OLED.

I’m sure they will release variants and/or special editions once enough people buy the launch consoles. It happened with S1 and even the SL.
