A beautiful flower, holding a nasty surprise… Meet Malily and her Evolutions!

'In Nyaltojo, there's a field of flowers that no one is able to confirm the origin of. The entire field is filled with Lily of the Valley Flowers- a rare, toxic plant that, while beautiful, is also incredibly dangerous to consume. Within the bulbs of these flowers, on a single day in the Summertime, you'll find these adorable little ones beginning to sprout.

Malily is a Pokemon that grows to be about the same size as a basketball, but even that small, the poison they can produce is second to none. It only gets more and more potent the more they evolve, soon becoming strong enough to put even the largest of Pokemon out of commission, and will do so without warning in some cases.

Despite this, Malily and its evolutions are incredibly important to the landscape of Tamago. Nyaltojo is known as the best place to grow crops for the region, and it's thanks to this little bud- for nutrients, Malily actively sucks pollution from the soil, and regurgitates a perfumish liquid (also poisonous) that acts as fertiliser. As it evolves, this liquid only gets more potent, to the point where crops that should only grow in certain conditions can be planted in a pot fed nothing but this liquid and grow healthy and strong.

Overall, Malily is important, yet dangerous, to Tamago as a whole. Funnily enough, this Pokemon can be any Gender, too- something that I had to prove to my colleagues who used to think it could only be Female… sure enough, it's just a girl-dominated species.'
