Pokemon Trading Card Game

Was recently given an old collection.

A family member recently passed away and she had a box of old cards that were thought to belokg to my cousin, so they were given to him. He figured I'd appreciate the more than he would since I've recently gotten back into it.

After not recognizing many of the sets, I had to do a lot of research. It seems all of the cards are vintage with sets I've never even heard of as they were released way after I had moved on from Pokémon. They were heavily played with and most of the cards are in pretty bad shape, as well as kept in a smoker's house for decades, so there's practically no value to them.

But it's been really cool to look at so much artwork from sets I've never heard of and that's been around for over 20 years. It was very nostalgic to go through them all and have a pretty large vintage collection overnight.

There were some first edition as well which was surprising, and some cards in German. The last slide are the only ones that seem to hold much value and that Squirtle has easily become one of my favorite cards due to the artwork on it.
