Current Designs for my Pacific Northwest Starter Fakémon

These are the current designs I have for my Starter Pokémon. These are absolutely not final designs (as should be evident just from the line work of the Grass Starter’s final stage alone), and I would appreciate any ideas to help improve these designs, ideas on how I can represent their theme progressions better, and ideas on how I can incorporate the below inspirations into their future redesigns:

Grass Starter:

-Kermode Spirit Bear

-Cub Scout (First Stage) to Park Ranger (Third Stage)

-Deforestation

-Forests

-Fog (Ghost-type status move that lowers the opponent’s Speed each turn, and acts like Leech Seed)

-Hibernation

-Xerophyllum tenax (Indian Basket grass/Bear grass)

-Specializes in HP and Defense

Fire Starter: (first stage adopted from @GregAndrade22)

-Mountain Goat/Bighorn Sheep

-Climber (First Stage) to Mountain Climber (Third Stage)

-Industrialization

-Volcanoes/Mountains

-Battering Rams (Steel-type physical attack that lowers the opponent’s Defense and Special Defense after landing)

-Goats “eating” metal

-Goats and sheep being used as burnt offerings

-Steel Wool

-Specializes in Attack and Speed

Water Starter:

-Blue Ringed Octopus/Giant Pacific Octopus
