I hate "increased shiny boosts". It could go from 1/500 to 1/250 and 80% of people still won't get it. Until it's 1/10 or 1/25, nobody cares lol

Actually Blissey is only good for healing. If you mean tank as putting up shields it's terrible. Most of it's bulk come from high HP 400+. It's defense is bad and only resistance ghost.
Example Max Entei does fire blast. Blastoise takes 90 damage but Blissey takes 200.
Shields are a flat value at level 3 and 3 layers. Again go back to Max Entei example.
Blastoise can take two fire blasts to the face and still not take any actual damage and keep the focus on itself. Blissey would lose all three shield stacks and no longer hold the bosses focus.
As of now going against Mac Suicune it seems Blissey won't do well against Hydro pump.
If Blissey is used to absorb damage with a group of 4 while someone is shielding and it is keeping the shield pokemon alive that is fine. Even if you use that method in dou battle we did that with Max Entei to a certain point.

I understand that this event is based on a holiday in Japan and Korea, but it's bullshit that they locked the bonus to those regions.

This has been a BS event. The 5 km egg has 8 different Pokemon in the pool, meaning that it is very difficult to hatch mime jr.
