Ah yes the 130 year old company will grow by more than 50% in a short amount of time while the larger company that makes more money will not.
That’s what happens when Mario kart costs 110$ (Canadian)
What makes you think Nintendo will close a 50 billion gap in a year
I think Nintendo surpasses Disney in valuation in 2-3yrs
Looks like the boycott is bearing fruit
Poor company… I see why they need to charge 80USD for games
Sony is a much more diverse company . Nintendo does one thing extremely well. They may not surpass Sonys market cap but for them to be this big in one sector is insane though. Sony would have to make some huge mistakes for Nintendo to surpass their market cap .
Good to see Nintendo still going strong after all these years.
I don’t think they’ll be overtaking Sony anytime soon. The brand is too strong and they also have a more diversity in their products.
Competition is healthy. And with Japan’s current economy they definitely need more successful brands.
For comparison’s sake Sega’s market cap is just 4.5… just to really visualise how far they’ve fallen (and to think they used to be neck & neck with Nintendo 30 years ago)
Soy corporation is not PlayStation only, but it includes other business entities such as music or camera.
