I updated my Pokémon Transfer visualization and incorporated the feedback that I have gotten from you guys!
* I have added the Generation I and Generation II games
* I have added the Pokéwalker, Pokémon Dream World and Poké Ball Plus
* Added a legend
* Updated the layout
* Now that Pokémon HOME has been released, I updated the transfer process for that as well
* I removed the watermarks from the previous version 😉
Bear in mind that this graphic entails the transfer process for the PAL region of Pokémon games. I hope you will enjoy this!
EDIT: Just to be clear, the transfer from Pokémon GO to Pokémon HOME has not been released yet. Since it is going to happen, I went ahead and added it to the visualization.

Wow. I had no idea Nintendo (Game Freak, whatever)was so consistent on transferring pokemon through the generations.
So could you theoretically take a pokemon from Game Boy Advanced all the way to Nintendo Switch?

There is also an unofficial method of transferring gen 1 and 2 to the VC versions. Not sure if it would be worth having on here though but it completes all things

Idk if this count or not but I had a friend who bought the digital version of Silver for his DS. I was able to trade some gen 1 shinies into my copy of Sword. They have the gameboy logo next to them too

We can criticize Pokemon all we want, but bloody hell, for creatures in a video game from 2003 to be able to be forward compatible with a Nintendo Switch game in 2020 and every aspect of the journey in between is amazing.

This is really good, except the Pokémon Crystal image is a bit low so the background clips with the red on the border by a pixel or two. Sorry I’m so nitpick-y.

That is a crazy log way around I put all mine from GB, GBC, and GBA on to a GameCube memory card using Pokémon Box. Then Transferred them all to Ruby. Then Transferred everything from Ruby into Platinum. Then eventually moved everything from all the DS and 3DS games into Bank, and then eventually moved everything from Bank into Home.

Cool. I noticed before that while Pokemon Ranch was only compatiable with Diamond/Pearl, the Japanese version of Ranch gotten updated to work with Platinum too but not with PAL/NTSC-U versions sadly.

So, in theory, is it possible that someone could have caught a Pokemon all the way back in Ruby/Sapphire and then have kept it in their team all the way up to Sword/Shield?
