My very first shiny was a Riolu using the mesuda method! However it's comical because I was actually trying to hatch Eevee eggs when it happened that I ended up with an accidental Riolu egg in the batch I was working on for Eevee in Ultra Sun for two years. It was the most hilarious but kinda frustrating moment for my shiny living dex- I needed one shiny Eevee to get a shiny glaceon; yet I ended up with my favorite bud Riolu! It's actually funny because at the time I was vibing with a friend talking about Pokemon when it happened
My first shiny was a mareep first day of Pokémon violet and was like 10 minutes in after intro and now it’s one of my mains and is level 100 now and I actually use it more than i think
First shiny was a Zigzagoon. I didn't catch it because i didn't know what the sparkles meant and reset the game to find it again. It wasn't until I looked it up that I had messed up. It was back in the early 2000's.
The very first time I walked into Mt. Moon, I encountered a shiny zubat. HOWEVER, I was like 7 or 8, so I A: Didn't know what shinies were and B: Didn't know how to save. RIP.

The very first shiny i cought was a shiny drifloon in pla i was searching for logs in the post game my sound was of (because it was the middle of the night) after about 10 minutes i found the first log i turned around and there he was a yellow drifloon he was the only pokemon near me at first i just started walking past him and said "wow i didnt remember drifloon was yellow….. Wait isnt it purple?" So i got back encounter it and i saw them.. the Sparkles straight after i started searching "how to get shiny in pla" and since then its all history ( no like for real i got to deep i have 3 and half boxex of shinys in this game i stayed up all night and hunted)
Not sure, but I think it might have been Mimikyu I used the best Shiny hunting technique: SOS Calls! It might have taken a few hours, I already had the shiny charm on me
On let’s go Pikachu/Eevee I don’t know, but I caught 312 diglett in Diglett Cave or whatever it’s called until I got a shiny…only to find out all I got was a frost bitten diglett.
