It's been a long time since I watched the Diamond/Pearl season, but I remember that at the end of her arc (and I'm not mistaken she was a Pokémon hunter), in the scene where the plane explodes and she dies, I thought:
"Wow, so people die here…"
I was a kid, but it was the first time I had seen this in the anime.
Meanwhile, Jessie, James and Meowth are immortal 😛
