[OC] Trainers Travelling Between Regions, Please Be Cautious Not To Release The Following Pokémon Into New Environments!

Started work on this shortly after my Regional Birds poster, and then University picked up and it sat as a sketch in my files for. months. But it's done now!

Scientific Names were coined during the sketch phase, so a lot of why i picked the names I did has gone with time, but I do remember the translations as a lot of them are quite simple! So, here you go:

Raticate – Rattus kantonius (Kantonian rat)

Furret – Mustela agilis (Agile mustelid/ferret)

Linoone – Taxidea linear (Linear badger, specifically an American badger as Linoone resembles them closer)

Mightyena – Crocuta domesticus (Domestic hyena)

Bibarel – Castor hisuian (Hisuian beaver, I thought it would be a cute nod to how when the Sinnoh Pokédex was originally written and its Pokémon categorised, the region was called Hisui)

Watchog – Suricata observo (Observant meerkat)

Diggersby – Lepus fossorius (Tunneling rabbit)

Gumshoos – Herpestes exspecto (Patient mongoose. Technically this translation is a stretch as what exspecto does mean is To Wait, or To Expect)

Alolan Raticate – Rattus alolan (Alolan rat)

Greedent – Sciurus gluttonem (Gluttonous squirrel)

Obstagoon – Meles linear (Linear badger, specifically a European badger, as Galarian Linoone is designed after them. Shares its suffix with base linoone as a nod to their relation, though technically it should be closer related than I depicted them)

Oinkologne – Sus aromatum (Aromatic Pig, a reference to the line's repeated references to having a pleasant scent)
