It is said that in the old Kuranui region (based on New Zealand) , whispup was used to patrol homes at night to drive away evil spirits. It is quiet but alert, only appearing when it truly senses the owner's emotional fluctuations. Nowadays, with the development of civilization, whispups are used for shepherding, as they drive away the mareeps.

Category: Spirit Dog Pokemon

Cursed-body (Hidden Ability)
It evolved from whispup, and although it cannot fly, it can hover in the air and cross rocks and walls. It operates in a patrol manner at night, and ancient books record that Kurukura seems to escort lost souls and wild ghosts out of this world. However, currently, Kurukura is used as a shepherd for the flaaffy specific in the Kuranui region.
