Extremely underrated Pokemon. Fun dual typing, amazing design, kind of looks like the Green Goblin.
I want to like Grimmsnarl. I really, truly do. But he’s just a bit too split between goofy and cool for me to enjoy the design. If he leaned slightly more to one side of that spectrum, he’d be perfect.

It’s unfortunate, but a majority of niche Pokemon, even if they are well liked don’t have much merch if any, I got a lot of weird Pokemon I like and the best merch I can buy for em is cards, I really wish Pokemon was better with it, but yeah, could always try making something yourself too.

I love it. G-Max Grimmsnarl my MVP for a Sword & Shield singles draft league and I cooked so many wild sets for it. Without Incineroar it has a massive presence in the VGC meta. Even with Incin, it’s still pretty solid.
Merch outside of Pikachu, Kanto starters, Eevee and it’s evolutions, Snorlax, and Gengar basically don’t exist.
Grimmsnarl literally got its own TCG theme deck today.

With all due respect, I hate the entire evolution line – they’re extremely ugly, and fall very much outside the idea of what a Pokemon is supposed to look like. Ironically, I’d probably like them if they were a digimon or something. The starters have that same saturday morning cartoon vibe to them – while I can’t say I’m particularly fond of them either.
My first game was Yellow, so my likes and dislikes for designs tends to be oldschool – not that gen 1 didn’t have its duds as well. There’s just something about bipedal ‘mon, especially the recent ones, that need to pass a certain bar for me.
Again, sorry for yucking your yum, but I can certainly understand why Grimmsnarl doesn’t get as much love as many other designs.
At least it has an action figure! Would be cool to have more tho

It would be a lot more popular if it was version exclusive with Hatterene since I feel they’re designed to be a pair. Both right next to each other in the Pokédex, both dual Fairy types, both hair bases. They’re even the ace of two of our rivals, Bede and Marnie. Impidimp was technically revealed during another exclusive Pokemon reveal, Galarian Ponyta

Not a fan of the G-Max, as it makes him too slim. I like his regular design though.

I really can’t see it being a big seller merch wise, as much as I hate to say it.
You are the first person outside of myself that I’ve seen request Grimm merch bc the lack thereof is actually abysmal. It actually makes me upset bc it’s G-Max makes it one of my favorite pokemon and we don’t even have a single plush of Grimm.
I need some more official merch for the Flygon line, man
this isnt exactly the best comfort but sometime in the near-ish future maybe gen 8 plushies will come out? gen 7 was just released recently and gen 6 about a year ago, so given that schedule it’s bound to happen at some point. Plus there’s always the chance for some different kind of drop happening before that.
I’m still surprised that Shinx has practically no official merch AT ALL.
It’s been my favourite Pokemon since I was about 10 years old and it’s surprises me to this day that it isn’t more popular due to how cute it is
